Ingredients

  • 300 ml of coconut oil
  • 400 ml olive oil
  • 100 ml almond oil
  • 200 ml of the carrot cooking water
  • 100 g mashed carrots
  • 110 g of caustic soda
  • ½ teaspoon of pure honey
  • 10 drops of carrot essential oil

Preparation

Before you start making this homemade soap, make sure you use good gloves and you are in an area suitable for handling the above ingredients. Use only wooden utensils.

  • Step 1. Put the 100 grams of carrot to boil in a container with water.
    When they are very soft, take them out of the pan and mash them with a fork.
  • Step 2. In a separate container, pour the carrot puree and the 200 ml of cooking water you have reserved .
  • Step 3. Add the caustic soda, being careful. Gently mix everything together with a wooden spoon. Leave to rest for a few minutes.
  • Step 4. Then start incorporating coconut oil, olive oil, honey and carrot essential oil drops into this mixture.
  • Step 5. Stir everything well with the wooden spoon. V ou should start to notice that the consistency of the soap is becoming thicker.
  • Step 6. Put this mixture in silicone molds to shape your soaps. The aissez them harden for at least two days before use.

You will get a soap that does not contain chemicals,  only ingredients that are good for the skin.

You can use it every day to clean your face, or adopt it as a replacement for your body soap.

To keep it better, avoid keeping it in a humid area. Try to store it in an airtight container after using it.
